The Thumbalahalli Dam is constructed across Poolapatty river near Thumbalahalli village in Palacode Taluk of Dharmapuri District. The Thumbalahalli dam works were commenced in the year 1979 and completed during 1986. The dam was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru.M.G.Ramachandran.
