பற்றி உப்பாறு அணை (திருப்பூர்)

The Uppar Dam is constructed across Uppar odai in Dharapuram Taluk of Tiruppur District. The main source of supply is the return flow from the ayacut under Parambikulam Main Canal and its own catchment area.

By this reservoir Erode District is benefitted. Dharapuram taluk is benefitted by this reservoir.

The construction of Uppar dam (Tiruppur) was started during 1965 and completed during 1968.
